The existing property known as ‘Barrie House’ is a 1950’s 9-storey residential tower block, situated on the edge of Primrose Hill and Regents Park. MWA were asked to explore the potential to extend the existing building and create additional residential units for the private market. During a detailed pre-planning process, MWA worked closely with the London Borough of Camden to finalise proposals which have now been submitted for full planning consideration.
MWA have designed a new part 3, part 4 storey ‘wing’ built over an existing car park together with comprehensive landscaping proposals for the entire site.
There are 9 new units which all enjoy views over Primrose Hill to the East and Regents Park to the South.
