MWA have successfully received planning permission for a part demolition and rebuild and part retention of a family dwelling. MWA’s vision to rejuvenate the existing 1860’s villa and extend with a high-quality modern-day villa connected by a glazed entrance volume was well received following a Pre-application in June.
The proposal seeks to remove the uncharacteristic features and additions that have appeared over it’s time and create a more balanced volume yet keeping the proposed extension subservient to the 1860’s villa. The scheme provides this young growing family a 5-bedroom house, office space, games room, entertainment room and a home gym. Renewable energy, green roofs and permeable landscaping provides additional benefits to the existing conditions and have been considered positive contributors to the proposal.
