We have recently submitted a planning application to redevelop a family home in the St John’s Wood Conservation Area.
The existing building was built in the late 1830’s, and is identified as an unlisted building of merit. The building has been subject to previous alterations and rear extensions, altering the character of the property. We are proposing to rationalise the front and rear elevations, re-introducing symmetry dating back to the original 1975 scheme. We aim to re-establish the building’s heritage and character on the street elevation. In addition, the proposal includes a full internal refurbishment of the interior, increasing accessibility and daylight into the property.
The family home will utilise contemporary and natural finishes, and includes lightwells into a basement swimming pool and spa.
